This is the final logo I decided on for my state park branding project. I really enjoy the playfulness of this logo and plan to take that theme throughout the entire branding system.

This week I learned a great deal on color choices. I learned how to access the colorbook library 

in illustrator and learned a bit on what color schemes fit best together. 

I decided to go ahead and work on this logo. The rest of the sketches of the other logos looked too illustrative. This one shows simplicity, as well as the redwoods and river I wanted to focus on. I am still not too sure about what colors to use. So far I've learned that basic dark green is too general so I'm heading towards the logo with black and the pale light green. 

These are the final 4 logo Ideas i have. My favorite has to be the single line river and tree on the top left. The colors i'm planning for it are dark green and a variety of shades of blues on the river.
